March 21-31, 2015 multiple community events and exhibits will explore the theme of compassionate action, highlight compassionate initiatives in our community, and work toward becoming a compassionate city.

Hosting an 11 Days for Compassion
Event or Exhibit

February 21st, 2015 is the deadline for submitting 11 Days for Compassion events and exhibits. Please post your 11 Days events, displays, activities, etc. using the survey link below for committee review.

If you are interested in hosting an event, display or activity during the 11 Days for Compassion, please fill out the survey below. SAVE your work separately, in the event of technical difficulty, and email us the info too, just to be on the safe side. All events must be free, open to the public, and presented in the spirit of the theme. Nonviolent Carbondale will contact you to confirm receipt of your proposed event, which will be reviewed by our committee. IF you do not receive a reply by email within three working days, please inquire by email to nonviolentcdale@gmail.com and include your event information (as described below) in your email.

Materials to Print and Distribute at Your Event

Organizations and individuals hosting an event are asked to promote their own event, and to print and distribute the entire calendar of events prior to, and during the hosted event. This cooperative cross-promotion is crucial to our shared success. The calendar will be available for printing from this site in early March.
Surveys coming soon:
  • Tell us about your existing initiative.
  • Nominate someone for the Hugh Muldoon Peacemaker Award.
